Player Ego Networks

Ego networks are defined as a network of direct or indirect connections where one node is at the center of the network. For instance, an ego network set to a depth of 1 will show only direct connections from the source node. A depth of 2 would show a secondary set of connections, or a so-called “friends of friends” layer to the network. Ego nets are useful for highlighting related nodes within a network that might otherwise be difficult to identify visually.
