Major League Baseball WAR (Wins Above Replacement) trade networks show the players exchanged in transactions between teams. Transaction nodes are sized by the total value of future WAR for the teams involved in the trade while edges are sized based on value added by individual players and to each team.
The data is sourced from Retrosheet.org and Neil Paine’s 538 github page, and all networks were built using Gephi and sigma.js.
